ITUNES METHOD

1. Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to your Mac
2. Open iTunes on your Mac so it will be available when you are ready.
3. Open Astro Gold on your Mac.
4. Click the Select button to take you to your chart files, and then click Open chart.
5. Click the file button at the top left, and it will show you your various chart files, and you will see the location of each one. For example, if you are looking for a file called MyCharts you may see it listed something like /user/Mac/Documents/MyCharts.SFcht. That means that you will find the MyCharts.SFcht file somewhere in your Documents folder. Please make a note of the location for each chart file you wish to copy onto your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
6. Now you can close or minimize Astro Gold on the Mac, as you will not be needing it any further for this process.
7. Go to the folder you noted as the location of your chart file(s), and open the folder, so if the file is in your Documents folder, you need to open Documents. You should either see your chart file in that folder, or if not, you may see another folder in there called Astro Gold…open that one.
8. Now look for the chart file you want to copy, such as MyCharts.SFchat file. You’ll go back to it shortly, but you can minimize that folder for a moment.
9. Open the minimized iTunes program, and click on the picture at the top that looks like an iPhone. This basically is how your iPhone shows in iTunes.
10. Find the Apps item and click on that, and it should open the Apps file. Don’t worry about what is or isn’t in there. Scroll down until you get to the section that says Sharing or Shared apps. Click on Astro Gold, and on the right side in the Documents section you should see all of the chart files that currently exist on the iPhone’s Astro Gold app.
11. Now, go back to that file you minimized, in your Documents file. Find the first one you want to copy (such as MyCharts.SFcht) and drag it into the Astro Gold Shared/Documents section in iTunes. If there is a file already in there, you will get a popup asking if you want to replace the old with the new. Say yes.
12. Now, used iTunes to synchronize your iPhone, and you should have all the charts from the Mac in your iPhone.

EMAIL METHOD

Follow steps 1-5, above.
6. Email each chart file you want to copy as an attachment, and send it to yourself at an address you can access from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
7. Open the email on the device once received, and click to open the file attached. This will open the chart file in Astro Gold on this device.

In reverse, you can also email the chart file from your mobile Astro Gold app to an email you can access on your Mac, and then click on it to open it in your Mac version of Astro Gold.
