Astro Gold for macOS

Astro Gold for macOS is the latest in reliable and elegant astrology software for the Mac computer. An update to v5.6 was released in August 2022. Just some of the changes included in the most recent releases are as follows.

• NEW – Astro Locality Maps – It is now possible to display Geodetic maps and a chart wheel and/or local space wheel simultaneously with the map view, and use the mouse cursor to relocate the chart while the chart wheel and local space chart update in real time.
• NEW – Planetary stations can now be shown in charts and listings.
• NEW – Nodes and apsides can be added as extra chart points, appear on new Astro Sheets and these types of events can now also optionally be included in Dynamic Listings.
• NEW – Additional arc direction types are now available.
• NEW – The range of available Astro Sheets has been expanded and organised into various astrological topics for easy access.
• ENHANCED – The ephemeris range of the main planets can now be expanded to cover the year range 10,000 BCE to 10,000 CE via simple in-app download.NEW – Users can now customise (create/delete/edit) color sets for chart points, sign glyphs, sign fill colors and aspects, and Huber aspect colors have been added as a pre-supplied option.

The Astro Gold for macOS Chart files are fully compatible and interchangeable with Solar Fire® desktop astrology program for PC, as well as Astro Gold iOS for iPhone and iPad.

There are also choices to display bi-wheels, tri-wheels, quad-wheels or dials, Select 1, 2, 3 or 4 charts at a time for display and Choose an Aspect grid with aspects of longitude and declination or Synastry Grids.

Astro Gold also has 44 standard Displayed chart points available, including:

If you aren’t ready to buy straight away, you can download a demo version of the app below. Note that the demo has a number of limitations, which are completely removed when you register the app by buying a license, either below or via the app’s built-in Register… option. The main limitations are:

• You can only cast new natal charts for dates in the 1930s, and you cannot save any.
• You cannot step a chart forward in time beyond the current date.
• The list of recently used charts is deleted each time you exit the app.
