The Wheel Editor allows you to modify/create the style and layout of your astrological chart wheel designs. You can edit existing chart wheel designs or create new ones. You can change the style (visual details) of your chart wheels, or their layout by adding/reordering their rings - which amongst other things can contain sign rulers, decans, terms, triplicities and lunar mansions.
If you edit one of AstroGold's built-in chart wheel designs, when you select that wheel design to be used in a chart in the Viewing Area your changes will be visible. You don’t have to worry about making mistakes because Astro Gold's own built-in chart wheel designs always remain available - you will always have those to use no matter what. You can "edit" them, but the originals are always backed up and available.
If you make edits to a built-in chart wheel design that you later do not want anymore, but then find that you cannot reverse these changes in the Wheel Editor, you are not stuck with these changes. All you need to do is open the Wheel Editor then "delete" that built-in wheel design. Then that built-in wheel design will be retsored from its backup copy and become available again in the exact layout and style it was in at shipping time. See deleting Wheels for how to do this.

NOTE: we cannot extend that guarantee of "fitness for purpose" to any wheels that you yourself create or subsequently edit. It's up to you to practice using the Wheel Designer until you have mastered it sufficiently, so that you can then create functional wheels that do what you want them to do.
